Thailand Visa Requirements
- Valid Canadian passport (Valid at least for 6 months from departure date & min. 2 empty pages). Note: Canadian passport holders going on tourism for less than 30 days, DO NOT require to obtain visa in advance. If for any reason you are planning to stay longer than 30 days, apply for tourist visa.
- Filled out and signed Thailand visa application form. Note: Applicants with Indian passports must provide 3 filled out and signed application forms.
- Three passport size photos with date stamp (5x7 cm). (Photo facility is available on-site - TORONTO, OTTAWA, MARKHAM & VANCOUVER). Please note that photos from photo booth or home-shot photos are not acceptable.
- Persons WITH DUAL citizenship, ONE of which IS Canadian, must apply WITH
their Canadian passports only.
Applicants WITH other THAN Canadian passports must provide the copy of
the document confirming their current resident STATUS IN Canada (PR
Card, Landed Document, WORK Permit), as well as other documents (usually: flight itinerary, hotel booking, etc) requested by the Embassy.

For multiple entry visa applicants: A copy of a bank statement showing a balance of the amount equal to no less than 200,000 (Baht) per person or 400,000 (Baht) per family - Note:
- Processing of visas for applicants with Indian passports takes 6 business days.
